The Drago USB Matrix & Relay board family is aimed at facilitating automation testing when the device under test uses USB connections or when it requires relays to manipulate its state and conditions.
Main features:
- Configuration and control can be done in three ways:
- Over the serial connection using an USB Mini port
- Using the WIFI connection
- Either by accessing a local website
- Sending TCP/IP commands
- Using the integrated display and push buttons.
- Easy software update over the serial connection using the provided PC application.
- 8 Relays (Relay load or 30V/DC 10A)
- USB 2.0 7×4 Matrix:
- 7 USB Type A Jack (Female) connectors on one side
- 4 USB Mini AB or USB Type B Female (in any configuration, default is Mini AB, leave a comment with the order for other options)
- Power supply of Input channels:
- Power supply source of input channels is selectable via a jumper. The two options are:
- the board’s 5V power supply[2]
- the power supply of the USB Output channels
- PS boards:
- Output channel power supplies are independent and they all supply a 5V source (different from the default one)
- Each input channel has a power controller and limiter. Power supply can be controlled independently of the data connection.
- Power supply source of input channels is selectable via a jumper. The two options are:
- PWM output channel with selectable frequency (1-100 Hz)
- Must be used with the external 12V supply.
- Power Supply
- Board is powered either through the USB Serial connection to the PC or through the dedicated 12V-24V DC connection
- Some features will not work when powered from the USB serial connection.
- Board is powered either through the USB Serial connection to the PC or through the dedicated 12V-24V DC connection
- Communication:
- Supports two sets of commands, one machine friendly (Binary) and another one user friendly (ASCII)
- Board chaining of any of the boards within this board family: allows control of up to 256 boards by sending commands to just one master.
[2] The board must have the external 12-24V supply connected to use this mode.
